I just added in all my sewing pattern PDF files to the site Craftsy.com!
They have a fantastic site! So many great ideas to make! I am sooooo inspired!!!
Check them out and also check out my sewing patterns too!!!
This instructional sewing pattern is easy to follow. You can also modify the size to make it a large bag or shrink it down to a tiny bag, all my just adjusting the dimensions.
Pattern PDF file is available for $5 on my ETSY page!
So I created another fabric for baby stuff!! This is Chicks and bunnies for babies
It will be available soon! I am waiting to proof the sample! I will post when it’s ready to purchase!!! Please go to my Spoonflower page and see my other designs that are for sale!
At Spoonflower.com you can pick any type of fabric from lightweight cotton to heavy linen canvas.
Their materials are very nice. I have ordered in the past their cotton jersey which I made a cute summer top out of which is shown here:
I have 4 vintage sewing machines. One is my industrial Singer, another a heavy-duty Pfaff 130, then there is a mint condition Singer 401A and lastly a sweet turquoise Fleetwood 195 Deluxe. All in great working order thankfully!!!
Oil and cleaning is important. I do a thorough machine cleaning every 6 months or so. My Industrial machine is a work horse and I have not coddled it at all. It takes a lickin and keeps on tickin!!! Well so far……………………………
I found the Website S.O.S. Machine which is in Los Gatos, California. So close enough for me to take my vintage machines too if needed. He does sell some of these old beauties too. They are dedicated in saving vintage machines that are in need of some TLC.
Check them out!!!
Oh and I am going to sell the Singer 401A if anyone is interested!!! I am finding out what the worth is of it and the shipping costs at the moment!!!
Fairytale Frocks and lollipops is an online retailer of sewing patterns, fabrics, books and notions.
They are now carrying my Mackerilla Brand Sewing Patterns!! My stuff will be up shortly on their site!!!
Please check out their site. Lots of cute things to choose from!!!
When your sewing with velcro, it’s best NOT use the kind that has the sticky backing on it.
It gums up your sewing needle and then pulls the thread and causes missing stitches. NO FUN!!!!!
I usually buy it by the yard instead of the little squares or circles or small strips.
Also it’s cheaper to buy the wider velcro. So get the 1 1/2″ or 2″ width and just cut in half. You get more for your money this way!!!!
I am still trying to sell my big quilters table! I posted on Craigslist 3 times now. I think it would be a good table for a school or sewing shop as well as a artsy/craftsy type with allot of space!
Spread the word if you know of anyone who needs a table. I really want to re-do my sewing space and this table is in the way of me doing anything!!!! EESSHHHHH!!!!!!!
I had ordered a yard of the fabric I designed which I have for sale on my SPOONFLOWER page. I reduced the elephants a wee bit since I thought they were a bit too large for clothing. So if your interested, you can order any of my fabrics I have on Spoonflower under Mackerilla!
Fabric: baby elephant creme-n-coffee
